According to data collected by the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), reckless drivers are causing more traffic violations and devastating car accidents this year than the last. Close to 9,000 speeding tickets have already been handed out this year, and nearly 8,000 car accidents have occurred. Out of those collisions, several hundred injuries have been reported, and fatalities have already surpassed 2014's reports – and the year isn't even out yet.
Unfortunately, there does not seem to be an isolated area of reckless driving. Rather this problem is spread across Colorado Springs, north to south, east to west.

- Powers Boulevard and Old Ranch Road
- Austin Bluffs Parkway and Academy Boulevard
- Cimarron Street and Interstate-25
